چکیده
To satisfy global electrical energy requirements, photovoltaic (PV) is a promising source that can be obtained from the available alternative sources, but partial shading conditions (PSCs), which trap local maxima power point instead of peak (GMPP), are major problem needs to addressed in PV systems achieve uninterruptable continuous supply desired by consumers. avoid these difficulties, marine predator algorithm (MPA), bio-inspired meta-heuristic algorithm, applied this work. The work validated and executed using MATLAB/Simulink software along with hardware experimentation. superiority proposed MPA method four different PSCs on system, their characteristics compared those existing algorithms. PSC outcomes terms GMPP case 1 at 0.07 s 995.0 Watts; 2 0.06 674.5 3 0.04 654.1 4 364.2 Watts. software- hardware-validated results show its supremacy convergence time, efficiency, accuracy, extracted power.

متن کاملA Novel Algorithm to Find Maximum Power Point for Solar Systems under Partial Shading
In this paper, a new two-stage control algorithm to reach the maximum power point in photovoltaic (PV) systems under partially shaded conditions is presented. This algorithm tracks the maximum power point without any need to measure the open circuit voltage, short circuit current and making use of any extra switches. To achieve maximum power performance, the method firstly selects the relevant ...

Partial shadowing is one of the problems that are always faced in terrestrial applications of solar photovoltaic (PV). The effects of partial shadow on the energy yield of conventional mono-crystalline and multi-crystalline PV modules have been researched for a long time. With deployment of new thin-film solar PV modules in the market, it is important to understand the performance of new PV mod...
متن کاملMPPT of Solar PV Panels using Chaos PSO Algorithm under Varying Atmospheric Conditions
This paper proposes a novel application of a chaos particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm for tracking a maximum power point (MPP) of a solar photovoltaic (PV) panel under varying atmospheric conditions. Solar PV cells have a nonlinear V-I characteristic with a distinct MPP which depends on environmental factors such as temperature and irradiation. In order to continuously harvest maximum ...

In this paper, by combining fractional calculus and sliding mode control theory, a new fractional order adaptive terminal sliding mode controller is proposed for the maximum power point tracking in a solar cell. To find the maximum power point, the incremental conductance method has been used. First, a fractional order terminal sliding mode controller is designed in which the control law depend...
